Devonshire 18th Century Shoes

The
Devonshires are a leather 18th century shoe based on museum examples from the 1760s through 1780s.  They're made of top-grade dyable leather, with a beautiful, smooth Italian leather sole for dancing, and are hard-wearing, water- and mud-proof, for even the toughest of outdoor re-enactments.

Pre-Order the Devonshires through August 10, and get the special $100 price.  We're only making 200 of these shoes, so don't miss the chance to own one of only a couple hundred pair on the planet!  Visit www.american-duchess.com to order.

Aren't these shoes sweet? I'm loving the shape of the heel! :)

  1. Wow those are some great shoes! Are you going to buy a pair? If you do you will just have to make some more dresses to go with them;)

  3. Kathryn - :) My sentiments exactly.

Hannah - Don't they?!? I think they belong in my closet!

Esther - I entered a giveaway for them, so we will see if anything comes of that, but if not, I might order a pair since I have basically NO historical shoes whatsoever (shame on me). :) Just got your letters *happiness*!!!

This Good Life - Thanks so much for the encouraging words! It's good to know people like my blog! :)
